Meta modeling of data warehouses
meta modeling of data
The volume and types of medical data is continually expanding. It is often difficult to know where to find relevant data. Meta data modeling (data about data) provides a solution. Careful modeling of meta data, analogous to modeling a terminology or taxonomy, permits searching of related data elements. This is especially useful for data aggreagation and knowledge discovery in large data repositories.
